Snacking

Snacking refers to the eating of small amounts of food between

regular meals, typically to satisfy hunger or provide energy. Whether snacking is good or bad depends on the choice of snacks—healthy options like fruits (including dried fruits), nuts, or yogurt can be beneficial, supporting metabolism and providing essential nutrients. The concept of snacking isn’t modern. Historical records show that during medieval times, small meals or snacks were consumed throughout the day to sustain energy levels during labour-intensive activities.

Our Snacks

Snacking has been part of human eating habits for centuries, with ancient cultures enjoying simple foods like dried fruits, nuts, and baked goods between meals. The Industrial Revolution and advancements in food processing led to the mass production of packaged snacks, making them more accessible and varied, and with this markedly less healthy snacks appeared.
