A succulent pork steak. The steak, is a cut from the shoulder or leg joint, with a good marbling of fat running through the steak to produce a well developed strong flavour. Due to the older age of the pigs you will notice the colour being slightly darker than your standard supermarket pork. The pigs are moved onto fresh fields and woodland on a regular basis giving them regular opportunities to exhibit their natural behavior. The difference between industrial raised pork, and this pasture raised pork from Redwoods is stark, you won’t be disappointed and will enjoy every succulent mouthful.

We will always choose the weight from our stock closest to your choice as possible. However please allow a small ±50g tolerance for your selection.
The pork is hung for 9-10 days to develop flavour, it is then butchered, vacuum packed and frozen, perfectly preserving the best taste and quality at it's most fresh. Freezing also eliminates any food waste.
