Organic Black Quinoa

Organic black quinoa is a naturally gluten-free grain with a slightly stronger, more robust flavour than white quinoa. It has a firmer texture, holding its shape well after cooking, making it a great choice for salads and grain bowls. Compared to white quinoa, which is softer and milder, black quinoa offers a bit more bite and a subtle nuttiness, adding depth to both savoury and sweet dishes.

It pairs well with our grass-fed beef, where its rich flavour holds up to a perfectly cooked steak or slow-braised beef shin. For something a little different, try using it in a warm salad with slices of seared minute steak, roasted beetroot, and a citrus dressing—the quinoa adds texture, while the beetroot brings sweetness and depth.
