It is hard when dry, so to have it on a salad you can soak it in water briefly to soften it. If you wish to have it dry, then cut it up into smaller chunks which can be used as a healthy alternative to salt
Using ground dulse is a great unique seasoning for our grass-fed rump steak. If you really want to be creative, then try adding dulse to dark chocolate, which produces a wonderfully paired salty chocolate bar.
