Organic Dried Chickpeas

Organic dried chickpeas have a slightly nutty, earthy flavour with a firm texture that holds up well in cooking. Unlike tinned chickpeas, they have a bit more bite and a richer taste, making them ideal for slow-cooked dishes where they can absorb flavours beautifully. Soaking and cooking them from scratch gives them a fresher, more satisfying texture that works well in a range of recipes.

They’re a great match for slow-cooked lamb shoulder, where they soak up the juices and spices in tagines or casseroles. Try them with pastured chicken thighs, roasting them together with warming spices for a flavour-packed one-pan meal. They also work well alongside beef brisket, adding depth and texture to slow-cooked dishes.
