Jars

The world's oldest known jarred food is over 3000 years old and was discovered in ancient Egyptian tombs. Sealed jars of Honey were still edible due to the low moisture content and natural acidity alongside honey's antibacterial properties.

Jarred goods are an environmentally friendly and economical way to store food today. They do not leach chemicals into the food and extend the shelf life of produce for a long time.
